“Where Songs Are Born”

Two thousand miles - A guitar on my back - A notebook full of half-written songs — and a heart full of questions.
That’s how this journey began.
When I left Carson City, I didn’t have a map — just a direction and a little bit of faith. I told myself I was going on a songwriting trip, but somewhere between the miles and the music, I realized it was something more.
The Road East

The road has a funny way of revealing things you didn’t even know you were missing. Each stretch of highway carried me through memories, melodies, and quiet conversations with God.
From the mountain air of Nevada to the rhythm of Atlanta and the coastal peace of Florida, I started to feel something shift — not just in my music, but in my heart.

The Stillness of Florida
There’s a moment that happens when you stop chasing the noise and let the waves speak instead.
On the Gulf Coast, I learned to be still again. To breathe. To listen. Family laughter, salt air, and the simple rhythm of the tide refilled my tank — spiritually and creatively.
By the time I made it to Jupiter, Florida, the sunrise felt like a new beginning. A reminder that faith doesn’t just carry us forward… it refines us along the way.
Florida gave me rest. It gave me perspective. It gave me songs I didn’t know I was meant to write.
A Detour and a Laugh
Of course, no road trip is complete without a detour — mine came with a beaver nuggets and a brisket sandwich.
Buc-ee’s. If you’ve been, you know. If you haven’t, imagine a gas station the size of a stadium with the spirit of Texas and the soul of a BBQ pit.
It’s funny — sometimes even the smallest, most unexpected stops can remind you that joy and wonder are part of the journey, too.
🎸 Back in Nashville: Where Songs Are Born

Eventually, the road led me back to Nashville — the city where stories turn into songs.
There’s something sacred about the songwriter rounds here. The lights are warm, the voices are real, and every lyric carries a piece of someone’s soul.

Whether I’m performing or just listening, I always leave feeling both humbled and inspired. Every song reminds me to dig deeper — to be a better songwriter, but also a better man, husband, father, and son.
Because the songs we write come from the lives we live. And if I want to write something that matters, I have to keep growing in the life that inspires it.
✨ The Journey Continues
I left home chasing songs. But somewhere along the way, I found something greater — a clearer sense of who I am, what I’m called to do, and why faith always deserves the driver’s seat.
The miles behind me are full of lessons, laughter, and grace. The miles ahead? They’re waiting to be written — one lyric, one prayer, one melody at a time.
So here’s to the next chapter. Where songs and souls are born. 🎶
